When Fresh Concepts started in 1987, it was our desire to use our produce knowledge and expertise to help foodservice operators improve their procurement practices. What started as a regional idea in Chicago soon went national as we took our experience working in produce distribution and began to work exclusively for restaurant companies, helping them improve the way they purchased produce.
Now over 30 years later, and having consulted and worked with tens of thousands of foodservice outlets throughout the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico, we continue to faithfully serve our clients and do what makes the most sense when it comes to procuring and handling fresh produce. We have the unique ability to bring a team of produce experts who have worked in the produce industry to your company, to work for you, becoming an extension of your staff, working as your produce procurement and training department.
